Low‐Voltage Controlled Coercivity in Nanocrystalline Fe‐Ni Films by Magneto‐Ionic Effects

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Fe‐Ni alloy films are introduced as magneto‐ionic material platform for energy‐efficient magnetic devices. In a compositional series of electrolyte‐gated Fe‐Ni films, the application of a voltage of around 1 V leads to magnetic property changes. The greatest effect, a >90% decrease in coercivity, occurs in near‐equiatomic alloys with ultra‐fine grains.

A Review on the Energy Storage Mechanisms of Transition Metal Sulfide and Selenide Cathode Materials for Non‐Aqueous Aluminum Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Herein is reviewed the current state of research on transition metal sulfides and selenides (TMSs/TMSes) used as cathode materials for rechargeable aluminum batteries (RABs). The three types of charge storage mechanisms encountered in these materials, as well as contradictions found in the literature, and future research pathways are discussed ...

Hybrid Learning Enables Reproducible >24% Efficiency in Autonomously Fabricated Perovskites Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Perovskite solar cells are promising candidates for scalable renewable energy technologies, but progress is often limited by complex fabrication processes and poor reproducibility. Here, we develop integrated workflows that combine automated high‐throughput fabrication with hybrid data‐driven modeling to design, build, and evaluate thin‐film ...
