Sentinel 1 evolution: Sentinel-1C and -1D models
2017 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS), 2017The paper provides an overview of the evolution of the Copernicus Sentinel-1 mission, which is part of the Copernicus European Earth Observation program. Following the successful launch and in-orbit Commissioning of Sentinel-1A in 2014 and Sentinel-1B in 2016, ESA is currently developing the Sentinel-1 C and D models.

Pathobiology of the sentinel node
Current Opinion in Oncology, 2008Lymphatic mapping and sentinel lymph node biopsy have been established as definitive procedures for the staging of cutaneous melanoma. Large-scale studies that have been recently conducted and that are ongoing suggest a therapeutic role for lymphatic mapping/sentinel node biopsy in the management and prognosis of melanoma patients with early lymph node

Writing code to handle dynamic data structures might seem to be an easy task, but write an efficient, readable and maintainable code is not such a simple task.In this short note we investigate some problems in developing code for handling dynamic data structures, and we propose techniques to overcome them.

Breast cancer and melanoma metastasize predominantly via the lymphatic route. It has long been known that invasion into one or a few nodes draining the primary tumour, the sentinel nodes (SN), is the most important, early sign of dissemination. If no malignant cells are detected in the SN, dissemination is unlikely to be expected. For the last 10 years
