Transient Sleep Deprivation Induces Persistent Auditory Neuropathy via ROS‐Initiated Neuroinflammation and BK Channel Suppression

Sleep disturbance severity closely tracks hearing loss in a clinical cohort, yet the mechanistic link remains unclear. Acute sleep deprivation is shown to trigger transient cochlear oxidative stress that switches into a self‐sustaining neuroinflammatory state, suppressing BK channels and causing irreversible synaptopathy.

This long‐term follow‐up study determined survival rates in a Swedish national cohort of 417 patients with breast cancer who all had neoadjuvant systemic therapy (NAST). Sex‐ and Time‐Resolved Physiological and Gut Ecosystem Responses to a Food‐Grade Microbiome‐Targeted Intervention in Collegiate Endurance Athletes

In collegiate endurance athletes, a 6‐week randomized CPYE intervention yielded time‐ and sex‐dependent shifts in field‐based cardiorespiratory, metabolic, and redox indices, accompanied by changes in gut multi‐omics profiles. An exploratory extension during intensified training generates hypotheses warranting future validation.
