Study on Relationship between Cyclone Diameter and Treatment Capacity Based on Response Surface Method

open access: yesShiyou jixie, 2021
In the design process of liquid-solid cyclone, the size design is still in accordance with the empirical method, which has strong subjectivity and randomness, and the internal relationship between the cylinder size and the operating parameters is still ...

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Structural Parameter Optimization of Droplet Size Reconstruction Hydrocyclone

open access: yesShiyou jixie, 2022
The droplet size reconstruction hydrocyclone realizes the rearrangement of large and small sizes of oil droplets by means of the inlet structure, and then uses the embedded structure to efficiently separate them.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

Separating Efficiency of Grinding Chips by Centrifugal Separator.

open access: yesJournal of the Japan Society for Precision Engineering, 1992
In this investigation, a centrifugal separator was used to separate grinding chips from grinding fluid. In order to clarify the efficiency of the centrifugal separator, separating experiments were carried out by changing grinding chips (FC, ceramics), its concentration and flow rate of the grinding fluid.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Structural Optimization Design of Downhole Gas-Liquid Separator Based on Orthogonal Experiment

open access: yesShiyou jixie
To address the issue of low separation efficiency in downhole helical gas-liquid separator during the production of gas-rich wells (with gas content of 30%~50%), based on gas-liquid two-phase flow theory, numerical simulation method was used to build a ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
