Separability-entanglement classifier via machine learning [PDF]
The problem of determining whether a given quantum state is entangled lies at the heart of quantum information processing, which is known to be an NP-hard problem in general. Despite the proposed many methods such as the positive partial transpose (PPT) criterion and the k-symmetric extendibility criterion to tackle this problem in practice, none of ...

Modelling stem cell differentiation related processes—A practical overview for biologists
Stem cell differentiation is complex and difficult to control experimentally. This review introduces suitable computational modelling approaches that can support stem cell research, from mechanistic ODE and abstract models to multiscale and deep learning methods.

DISTRIBUTION OF AN AIR STREAM SPEED IN THE DEEP ASPIRATING CHANNEL
There are air separators in agriculture, which clean seed materials only by means of an air stream. Thanks to constructive simplicity and compactness the machines having the rectangular cross-section channel with vertical air stream feed are especially ...

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

REMOVAL OF MINERAL IMPURITIES FROM AFTER - HARVESTING RESIDUES OF CORN
Due to the energy crisis, special attention is paid to the production and use of biofuels. After-harvesting residues of corn (AHRC) may become a perspective source of energy for grain dryers.

Conserved binding mode but diverse interfaces of MreC‐PBP2 interactions
The crystal structure of abMreC reveals a conserved two β‐barrel architecture and provides structural insights into its role within the bacterial elongasome. The abMreC–abPBP2 complex model identifies the molecular basis of MreC‐mediated PBP2 recognition, contributing to the regulation of peptidoglycan synthesis.

The Ellipsoidal Separation Machine
We propose the -- to the best of our knowledge -- first fully functional implementation of the ``Separation by a Convex Body'' (SCB) approach first outlined in Grzybowski et al. [1] for classification, separating two data sets using an ellipsoid. A training problem is defined that is structurally similar to the Support Vector Machine (SVM) one, thus ...

Microbiome‐blood–brain barrier interactions in aging — mechanisms and therapeutic potential
Aging reshapes the gut microbiome (↓SCFA‐producing commensals; ↑pro‐inflammatory outputs), shifting circulating metabolites (↓SCFAs; ↑LPS, ↑TMAO, ↑PAA) that act at the BBB to increase nonspecific transcytosis, alter transport, and promote astrocyte reactivity, heightening brain vulnerability.
