Lifespan Pancreas Morphology for Control Versus Type 2 Diabetes Using AI on Largescale Clinical Imaging

ABSTRACT Understanding how pancreas size and shape change with normal aging is critical for establishing a baseline to detect deviations in type 2 diabetes and other pancreatic disease. We measure pancreas size and shape using morphological measurements from early development through aging (ages 0–90).

Design of a Fluorescent Boronic Acid‐Functionalized Pyranoflavylium Receptor to Host and Release Diol‐Rich Bioactive Analytes in a pH‐Dependent Manner

This work presents a pH‐responsive ON–OFF fluorescent system based on a novel pyranoflavylium dye functionalized with a boronic acid receptor. The receptor exhibits a markedly higher affinity for the catechol‐containing polyphenol (+)‐catechin than for conventional diol‐rich molecules such as glucose and lactic acid.
