Arboriculture & Urban Forestry, 1989The fungus that frequently defoliates Siberian and yellow-twig dogwoods is identified as Septoria cornicola. Pathogenicity was confirmed in artificial inoculation trials, and environmental influences on fungal growth, sporulation, and spore germination were established.
