Emotional concepts shape the perceptual representation of body expressions. [PDF]

open access: yesHum Brain Mapp
We used representational similarity analysis to reveal the relationship between conceptual knowledge of emotion and the perception of body expressions. We found that conceptual knowledge significantly predicts the behavioral and neural representation of body expression perception.

Splitting Theorie für PLH-Räume [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014

Relationships between 𝜆-nuclearity and pseudo-𝜇-nuclearity

open access: yes, 1975
It is shown that for any Köthe space λ \lambda , λ \lambda -nuclearity coincides with pseudo- λ λ × \lambda {\lambda ^ \times } -nuclearity.

Neurocognitive Dynamics of Translating Information From a Spatial Map Into Action

open access: yesPsychophysiology, Volume 63, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT How do we translate information from a spatial map to action in our immediate surroundings? Despite the widespread use of various tools for orientation, from paper maps to GPS, this fundamental question remains unanswered in our understanding of human spatial navigation.

The domination theorem for operator classes generated by Orlicz spaces

open access: yesMathematische Nachrichten, Volume 298, Issue 11, Page 3576-3598, November 2025.
Abstract We study lattice summing operators between Banach spaces focusing on two classes, ℓφ$\ell _\varphi$‐summing and strongly φ$\varphi$‐summing operators, which are generated by Orlicz sequence lattices ℓφ$\ell _\varphi$. For the class of strongly φ$\varphi$‐summing operators, we prove the domination theorem, which complements Pietsch's ...

Genetic variation among progeny shapes symbiosis in a basidiomycete with poplar

open access: yesNew Phytologist, Volume 248, Issue 1, Page 157-177, October 2025.
Summary Forest trees rely on ectomycorrhizal (ECM) fungi for acquiring scarce resources such as water and nutrients. However, the molecular mechanisms governing ECM traits remain inadequately understood, particularly the role of intraspecific fungal variation in root‐tip colonisation and trophic interactions.

Can Metagenomic Analyses Be Used Effectively in Safe Food Production?

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 13, Issue 8, August 2025.
This graphical abstract illustrates the metagenomic workflow applied in food safety. It outlines the process from microbial detection in food matrices to genome‐level identification via next‐generation sequencing (NGS). The visualization emphasizes the integration of modern sequencing technologies to assess foodborne pathogens and microbial communities

EntoSieve: Automated Size‐Sorting of Insect Bulk Samples to Aid Accurate Megabarcoding and Metabarcoding

open access: yesMolecular Ecology Resources, Volume 25, Issue 6, August 2025.
ABSTRACT Widespread insect decline necessitates the development and use of standardized protocols for regular monitoring. These methods have to be rapid, efficient and cost‐effective to allow for large‐scale implementation. Many insect sampling and molecular methods have been developed.

Effects of land cover and protected areas on flying insect diversity

open access: yesConservation Biology, Volume 39, Issue 4, August 2025.
Abstract Widespread insect losses are a critical global problem. Mitigating this problem requires identifying the principal drivers across different taxa and determining which insects are covered by protected areas. However, doing so is hindered by missing information on most species owing to extremely high insect diversity and difficulties in ...

Scientists' warning on the need for greater inclusion of dragonflies in global conservation

open access: yesInsect Conservation and Diversity, Volume 18, Issue 4, Page 465-484, July 2025.
Stressors to dragonflies are multiple, and in many cases interactive. Specialist species are at risk, while generalists can benefit from some human activities. Dragonflies are sentinels for conservation, being promising surrogates for other taxa while also being appealing to citizen science initiatives.
