Modeling and parameter estimation for fractional large‐scale interconnected Hammerstein systems
Abstract This paper addresses the challenge of modeling and identifying large‐scale interconnected systems exhibiting memory effects, hereditary properties, and non‐local interactions. We propose a fractional‐order extension of the Hammerstein architecture that incorporates Grünwald–Letnikov operators to capture complex dynamics through multiple ...

Are consumers willing to pay more for future organic? Preference for certified transitional labels
Abstract The organic industry in the United States (US) has never kept pace with consumer demand and heavily relies on imports. This paper investigates how consumers value certified transitional labels, indicating growers are transitioning from conventional to organic production.

Pantograph System with Mixed Riemann-Liouville and Caputo-Hadamard Sequential~ Fractional Derivatives: Existence and Ulam-Stability [PDF]
The pantograph equation improves the mathematical model of the system includes modeling the motion of the wire connected with the dynamics of the supports and modeling the dynamics of the pantograph. The subject of this paper is the existence and Ulam

The goal of this work is to look at how a nonlinear model describes hematopoiesis and its complexities utilizing commonly used techniques with historical and material links. Based on time delay, the Mackey–Glass model is explored in two instances. To offer a range, the relevance of the parameter impacting stability (bifurcation) is recorded.

Abstract We obtain new results regarding the existence, uniqueness, and stability of solutions for a class of fractional Caputo sequential coupled hybrid system which are investigated by applying fixed-point theorems such as Banach’s contraction mapping principle and Leray–Schauder’s alternative.

A highly accurate numerical method is given for the solution of boundary value problem of generalized Bagley‐Torvik (BgT) equation with Caputo derivative of order 0<β<2$$ 0<\beta <2 $$ by using the collocation‐shooting method (C‐SM). The collocation solution is constructed in the space Sm+1(1)$$ {S}_{m+1}^{(1)} $$ as piecewise polynomials of degree at ...

ABSTRACT The well‐posedness results for mild solutions to the fractional neutral stochastic differential system with Rosenblatt process with Hurst index Ĥ∈12,1$$ \hat{H}\in \left(\frac{1}{2},1\right) $$ is discussed in this article. To demonstrate the results, the concept of bounded integral contractors is combined with the stochastic result and ...

A spatially second-order accurate implicit numerical method for the space and time fractional Bloch-Torrey equation [PDF]
In recent years, it has been found that many phenomena in engineering, physics, chemistry and other sciences can be described very successfully by models using mathematical tools from Fractional Calculus.

In this paper, we investigate a fractional differential equation involving sequential Caputo derivatives, motivated by recent research on fractional models with multiple memory effects. Using techniques inspired by earlier works on sequential fractional operators, we derive the exact analytic solution of the problem in terms of the bivariate Mittag ...

ABSTRACT We develop a unified mathematical framework extending classical moment theory from discrete integer orders to a continuous spectrum of real orders f>0$$ f>0 $$, providing a systematic statistical characterization of complex systems exhibiting power‐law behavior.
