Multi-Species Asymmetric Exclusion Process in Ordered Sequential Update

open access: yes, 1999
A multi-species generalization of the asymmetric simple exclusion process (ASEP) is studied in ordered sequential and sub-lattice parallel updating schemes.

Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...

A prospective randomized controlled double blinded interventional study to compare post operative analgesia using sequential intrathecal injection of fentanyl at different rates with hyperbaric bupivacaine in lower segment caesarean sections

open access: yesJournal of Obstetric Anaesthesia and Critical Care
Background: This study compared rapid and slow intrathecal fentanyl injection followed by a slow injection of bupivacaine to estimate the duration of postoperative analgesia in lower-segment caesarean sections (LSCS).

Injectable and Spatially Patterned Microporous Annealed Particle (MAP) Hydrogels for Tissue Repair Applications. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Spatially patterned hydrogels are becoming increasingly popular in the field of regenerative medicine and tissue repair because of their ability to guide cell infiltration and migration.

Effective therapeutic targeting of CTNNB1‐mutant hepatoblastoma with WNTinib

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
WNTinib, a Wnt/CTNNB1 inhibitor, was tested in hepatoblastoma (HB) experimental models. It delayed tumor growth and improved survival in CTNNB1‐mutant in vivo models. In organoids, WNTinib outperformed cisplatin and showed enhanced efficacy in combination therapy, supporting its potential as a targeted treatment for CTNNB1‐mutated HB.

SEQUENTIAL INJECTION-FLOW REVERSAL MIXING (SI-FRM) UNTUK PENENTUAN KREATININ DALAM URIN

open access: yesJurnal MIPA, 2013

LINC01116, a hypoxia‐lncRNA marker of pathological lymphangiogenesis and poor prognosis in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...

Enhancement of the Spin Accumulation at the Interface Between a Spin-Polarized Tunnel Junction and a Semiconductor

open access: yes, 2011
We report on spin injection experiments at a Co/Al$_2$O$_3$/GaAs interface with electrical detection. The application of a transverse magnetic field induces a large voltage drop $\Delta V$ at the interface as high as 1.2mV for a current density of 0.34 ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Economics-Based Optimization of Unstable Flows

open access: yes, 1999
As an example for the optimization of unstable flows, we present an economics-based method for deciding the optimal rates at which vehicles are allowed to enter a highway.
