Serial Correlation and Serial Dependence [PDF]
Serial correlation and serial dependence have been central to time series econometrics. The existence of serial correlation complicates statistical inference of econometric models; and in time series analysis, inference of serial correlation, or more generally, serial dependence, is crucial to characterize the dynamics of time series processes. Lack of

Formulas are presented for triserial correlation, quadriserial correlation, etc., and for serial correlation in general. These formulas are based on well-known procedures outlined by Kelley, Peters and Van Voorhis, and others, and involve Pearson's correction for “broad categories.” The formula for biserial correlation also may be developed following ...

Serials Librarians/Serials Suppliers:
Australian & New Zealand Journal of Serials Librarianship, 1990Murdoch University Library (in Perth, Western Australia) makes use of two on-line data communication systems to contact distant serials suppliers. These systems-DataSwets and Ebsconet-are described and discussed. Their use is recommended to all serials librarians.

Frontiers of Mathematics in China, 2012
The authors introduce the notion of (*)-serial coalgebras that is a generalisation of serial coalgebras. A coalgebra is said to be (*)-serial, if is both right and left (*)-serial, i.e. if its right (resp. left) injective indecomposable comodules are uniserial or biserial.

Serial Defaults, Serial Profits
2017This chapter looks at the profitability of banking families. Lending to the king of Spain made good business sense; it was hugely profitable on average, despite periodic defaults and restructurings. Defaults and reschedulings reduced the rate of return, but profitability net of these losses was still high—and markedly higher than the return on ...

During the past 15 years, medicine has witnessed several important advances in coronary artery reperfusion therapy for acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Both percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) and thrombolytic therapy have made significant advances in the early treatment of the AMI patient.

4096-bit serial decoded multiphase serial-parallel-serial CCD memory
IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1976A new practical form of charged-coupled device (CCD) memory structure is described which achieves high storage density while providing low clock-line capacitance. In the new structure, the time-division multiplexing of multiphase concepts is replaced by the spatial multiplexing of a serial-parallel-serial (SPS) array.

Serials Review, 1974
A visit last July to the American Library Association's annual conference in New York City proved both rewarding and frustrating. There was not enough time for the editor of this column to thoroughly inspect all the reference serials which were displayed—a mind‐numbing assortment of new and changing titles.
