Serial correlation and serial dependence [PDF]
Serial correlation and serial dependence have been central to time series econometrics. The existence of serial correlation complicates statistical inference of econometric models; and in time series analysis, inference of serial correlation, or more generally, serial dependence, is crucial to characterize the dynamics of time series processes. Lack of

How Serial is Serial Processing in Vision?
Perception, 1989Visual search for an element defined by the conjunction of its colour and orientation has previously been shown to be a serial processing task since reaction times increase linearly with the number of distractor elements used in the display. Evidence is presented that there are parallel processing constituents to this serial search.

Reference Services Review, 1979
What exactly are reference serials and why should they be reviewed? To answer the second question first, it is important that readers' services librarians be aware of the multitude of materials which can help them in their daily work. The Linguistic Review, 2000
These remarks review evidence that the major empirical advances of Optimality Theory over earlier work result from its theory of constraints and constraint interaction, rather than from its theory of parallel candidate evaluation. It is argued that while Optimality Theory's theory of constraints has clarified many areas of phono¬logical and ...

Additionally, however, the chapter considers where and how the typologies on serial rape and murder could be integrated, especially with

New architectures for serial-serial multiplication
ISCAS 2001. The 2001 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (Cat. No.01CH37196), 2002Traditional serial-serial multiplier structures suffer from an inefficient generation of partial products, which leads to hardware overuse and slow speed systems. In this paper, two new architectures for fully serial multiplication are presented. To the best of our knowledge, the first structure is the first fully serial multiplier reported in the ...
