History of the Potsdam, Seddin and Niemegk geomagnetic observatories – Part 2: Seddin [PDF]
The measurement series of the three geomagnetic observatories Potsdam, Seddin and Niemegk spans 130 years, starting in 1890. It is one of the longest, almost uninterrupted series of recordings of the Earth's magnetic field.

Calculation Method for Dynamic Stiffness of Multispan Overhead Transmission Lines
The dynamic motion of a span is coupled to the other spans in transmission lines. From the continuity conditions, force equilibrium conditions, and dynamical equations of every span conductor and insulator string, a close-form expression for the dynamic ...

Free vibration analysis of transmission lines based on the dynamic stiffness method [PDF]
An improved mathematical model used to study the coupling characteristic of the multi-span transmission lines is developed. Based on the solution method for single-span cable, an expression for the dynamic stiffness of two-span transmission lines with an

A Spanning Series Approach to Options [PDF]
This paper shows that Edgeworth expansions for option valuation are equivalent to approximating option payoffs using Hermite polynomials. Consequently, the value of an option is the value of an infinite series of replicating polynomials. The resulting formulas express option values in terms of skewness, kurtosis, and higher moments.

Lipoadenoma of the Parathyroid Gland: Characterization of an Institutional Series Spanning 28 Years [PDF]
AbstractParathyroid lipoadenomas (PLAs) are rare tumors, and case descriptions are limited, < 80 to date. As a consequence, scarce information regarding the etiology of these enigmatic lesions is available. We searched our departmental pathology database for PLAs diagnosed between 1992 and 2020, reexamined the histology of each case, and recorded ...

Classification of the space spanned by theta series and applications [PDF]
We determine a class of functions spanned by theta series of higher degree. We give two applications: A simple proof of the inversion formula of such theta series and a classification of skew-holomorphic Jacobi forms.
