Quality and Conservation of Riparian Forest in a Mountain Subtropical Basin of Argentina
The aims of this work were to describe the conservation status of riparian forests located in a mountain subtropical basin of Tucumán province, Argentina, and assess how the quality of riparian forests is related with altitude, plant species richness, proportion of exotic species, and Total Suspended Solids (TSS) in adjacent rivers.

Synergistic Effect of Lupenone and Caryophyllene Oxide against Trypanosoma cruzi

A Review of the Biology of Eucharitidae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) from Argentina
All the members of Eucharitidae are parasitoid of ants. Argentina has 14 genera and 41 species, but little is known about their biology. Herein are provided new data for host associations (host ant and/or host plant) of Galearia latreillei, Kapala spp., Latina rugosa, Orasema aenea, and Orasema sp.

The composition of the essential oils (EO) from leaves and rhizomes of Hedychium coronarium was analyzed both by gas chromatography and gas chromatography‐mass spectroscopy. Thirty and thirty‐nine compounds were identified, respectively, in the oils from leaves and rhizomes, representing 88% and 86.1% of the whole compositions.

Chagas disease (American Trypanosomiasis) is caused by the protozoan Trypanosoma cruzi. Worldwide it is one of the seventeen neglected tropical diseases. There is a need of new drugs. This review assesses the literature (2012‐2024) of secondary metabolites isolated from Mexican plants active against this parasite.
