Serogroup-specific and serogroup-cross-reactive epitopes of Legionella pneumophila
Zentralblatt für Bakteriologie, 1994A panel of monoclonal antibodies was used to serotype 343 Legionella pneumophila isolates, using the indirect immunofluorescence test and ELISA. In addition, the isolates were typed by means of absorbed rabbit antisera to provide a reference procedure.

Meningococcemia Caused by Serogroup W135
Archives of Internal Medicine, 1981Meningococcemia caused by serogroup W135 occurred in four patients during a period of nine months. Three of the patients had hypogammaglobulinemia with normal hemolytic complement levels; the fourth had normal immunoglobulin levels one year after her illness. None of the patients had classic meningitis.
