Fatigue Strength in Additive Toolmaking: A Study of Metal Binder Jetting and Electron Beam Melting for Processing Carbide‐Rich Cold‐Work Tool Steels

Focusing on the critical tap hole region of the blast furnace, this work examines binder characteristics, prepares tap hole clay with different formulations, and evaluates their physical properties. The findings confirm the advantages of composite binders and offer a new binder option for tap hole clay.

starU‐Net: An enhanced U‐Net architecture with star operation and multi‐view fusion for improved vessel segmentation

Low‐contrast capillaries are often missed or fragmented by segmentation models, so we developed a shallow four‐level starU‐Net that combines star operation‐based feature extraction with dynamic snake convolution‐based multi‐view fusion for improved thin vessel continuity.
