Traditionally, Network Function Virtualization (NFV) has been implemented to run on Virtual Machines (VMs) in form of Virtual Network Functions (VNFs). More recently, the so-called Serverless Computing has gained traction in cloud computing, offering Function-as-a-Service (FaaS) platforms that make use of containerization techniques to deploy services.

Reliable Service Function Chain Deployment Method Based on Deep Reinforcement Learning
Network function virtualization (NFV) is a key technology to decouple hardware device and software function. Several virtual network functions (VNFs) combine into a function sequence in a certain order, that is defined as service function chain (SFC).

ABSTRACT This paper investigates the relationship between ESG rating divergence and corporate excess cash holdings, employing a sample of Chinese A‐share listed companies from 2015 to 2021. Our findings reveal a significant positive relationship between ESG rating divergence and firms' excess cash holdings, a conclusion robust to various sensitivity ...

Withanolide D Exhibits Anxiolytic and Memory‐Protective Effects. ABSTRACT This study evaluated the anxiolytic and memory‐protective effects of withanolide D in adult zebrafish (Danio rerio). The compound was administered at doses of 4, 20, and 40 mg/kg and showed no signs of toxicity after 96 h of observation at any of the doses tested.

Cooperative Brønsted Acid and Photo‐Promoted Stereoselective Synthesis of Substituted Piperidones
A Brønsted acid cooperates with a photoexcited carbonyl triplet to promote stereoselective C─C bond formation in disubstituted piperidones through a chromophore‐activator strategy. The Brønsted acid lowers the excitation energy gap, directs selective C─N bond cleavage over C─C fragmentation after H‐atom transfer, and enables enantioselective C─C bond ...
