Research on Dynamic Reliability of a Jet Pipe Servo Valve Based on Generalized Stochastic Petri Nets

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2015
The jet pipe servo valve is widely used in the military fields of aviation and ship, whose reliability has obvious randomness and dynamic. However, existing methods are either having complicated theory or analyzing static reliability.

Deep Reinforcement Learning‐Based Control for Real‐Time Hybrid Simulation of Civil Structures

open access: yesInternational Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Real‐time Hybrid Simulation (RTHS) is a cyber‐physical technique that studies the dynamic behavior of a system by combining physical and numerical components that are coupled through a boundary condition enforcer. In structural engineering, the numerical components are subjected to environmental loads that become dynamic displacements of the ...

Sleep‐disordered breathing in valvular heart disease: A Modifiable comorbidity

open access: yesSleep Research, EarlyView.
Abstract Sleep‐disordered breathing (SDB) is highly prevalent among patients with valvular heart disease (VHD) and is independently associated with adverse clinical outcomes. The two major phenotypes—obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and central sleep apnea (CSA)—exhibit distinct distributions across VHD subtypes. CSA predominates in severe aortic stenosis,

First Experience With Extravascular Implantable Cardioverter‐Defibrillator Under Deep Sedation

open access: yesPacing and Clinical Electrophysiology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background The Extravascular Implantable Cardioverter‐Defibrillator (EV‐ICD) utilizes a substernal lead to provide defibrillation and anti‐tachycardia pacing (ATP) while avoiding transvenous complications. General anesthesia (GA) was applied for implantation procedures in the EV‐ICD pivotal trial and is currently recommended by the ...

Update on the Pathophysiology, Aetiology and Management of Central Sleep Apnoea

open access: yesRespirology, Volume 31, Issue 9, Page 873-881, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Central sleep apnoea (CSA) of the periodic breathing type occurs during the transition between wakefulness and stage 1 and 2 non‐REM sleep. In adults at sea level, it occurs most commonly due to advanced heart failure (HF) or chronic opioid use and in ~5% of obstructive sleep apnoea patients initiating CPAP.
