Local strong maximal monotonicity and full stability for parametric variational systems [PDF]
The paper introduces and characterizes new notions of Lipschitzian and H\"olderian full stability of solutions to general parametric variational systems described via partial subdifferential and normal cone mappings acting in Hilbert spaces.

ABSTRACT Background Parents of children treated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) often experience significant caregiver burden and disruption to their well‐being. While parent quality of life (QoL) during treatment is well characterized, little is known about outcomes during early survivorship.

Painlevé-Kuratowski convergence for set optimization solutions using improvement sets
This paper investigates the Painlevé-Kuratowski convergence of solution sets in set optimization problems under perturbations. By introducing the notion of [Formula: see text]-[Formula: see text]-Strictly quasiconvexity for set-valued mappings, we ...

MYCN Amplification in RB1‐Inactivated Retinoblastoma: Association With High‐Risk Features
ABSTRACT Background MYCN amplification occurs in a subset of retinoblastoma cases, both with and without RB1 inactivation. It has been suggested that retinoblastomas with MYCN amplification represent a distinct entity with more aggressive clinical behavior.

Continuity of set-valued maps revisited in the light of tame geometry [PDF]
Continuity of set-valued maps is hereby revisited: after recalling some basic concepts of variational analysis and a short description of the State-of-the-Art, we obtain as by-product two Sard type results concerning local minima of scalar and vector ...

Variational inequalities characterizing weak minimality in set optimization
We introduce the notion of weak minimizer in set optimization. Necessary and sufficient conditions in terms of scalarized variational inequalities of Stampacchia and Minty type, respectively, are proved.

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Stability and Error Analysis for Optimization and Generalized Equations [PDF]
Stability and error analysis remain challenging for problems that lack regularity properties near solutions, are subject to large perturbations, and might be infinite dimensional.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.
