Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Second Hukuhara derivative and cosine family of linear set-valued functions
Let $K$ be a closed convex cone with the nonempty interior in a real Banach space and let $cc(K)$ denote the family of all nonempty convex compact subsets of $K$.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

On the K-continuity of K-hull midconvex set-valued functions
In the present paper it is proved the K-continuity of a set-valued function which is K-hull midconvex, K-lower semicontinuous at a point and whose values are bounded K-midconvex sets; the concept of K-hull midconvexity is introduced here and it is weaker

Using the existence of solutions for equilibrium equations with a Neumann type boundary condition as developed by Shi and Liao (J. Inequal. Appl. 2015:363, 2015), we obtain the Riesz integral representation for continuous linear maps associated with ...

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Traditional continuum theory arising in inverse limits with set-valued functions
In the years since their introduction in 2004, almost 100 articles and books have been written on the subject of inverse limits with set-valued functions.
