Topological entropy of Markov set-valued functions
Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems, 2019We investigate the entropy for a class of upper semi-continuous set-valued functions, called Markov set-valued functions, that are a generalization of single-valued Markov interval functions. It is known that the entropy of a Markov interval function can be found by calculating the entropy of an associated shift of finite type.

Fuzzy Sets Syst., 2021
The aim of this paper is to develop a differential calculus for functions with values in a quasilinear metric space. Using only the metric on a quasilinear metric space and without using the Hukuhara difference, a new concept of derivative is introduced ...

Ekeland variational principles for set-valued functions with set perturbations
Optimization, 2020By using generalized nonconvex separation functionals and a pre-order principle in Qiu [J Math Anal Appl. 2014;419:904–937], we establish a general set-valued Ekeland variational principle (briefly, denoted by EVP), where the objective function is a set ...

On $m$-convexity of set-valued functions
Advances in Operator Theory, 2019We introduce the notion of an m-convex set-valued function and study some properties of this class of functions. Several characterizations are given as well as certain algebraic properties and examples.

Statistics with set-valued functions: applications to inverse approximate optimization
Mathematical programming, 2017Much of statistics relies upon four key elements: a law of large numbers, a calculus to operationalize stochastic convergence, a central limit theorem, and a framework for constructing local approximations.

Set-valued α-fractal functions
2022In this paper, we introduce the concept of the $α$-fractal function and fractal approximation for a set-valued continuous map defined on a closed and bounded interval of real numbers. Also, we study some properties of such fractal functions. Further, we estimate the perturbation error between the given continuous function and its $α$-fractal function ...

On quadratic set valued functions
Publicationes Mathematicae Debrecen, 2022A set valued function \(U:{\mathbb{R}}\to 2^ X\) (where X is a real normed space) is said to be quadratic iff \(U(s+t)+U(s-t)=2U(s)+2U(t),\) for all s,\(t\in {\mathbb{R}}\). There is proved, among others, that if a quadratic set valued function U:\({\mathbb{R}}\to CC(X)\) (where CC(X) denotes the family of all compact, convex and non-empty subsets of X)
