Discrete choice, permutations, and reconstruction [PDF]
In this paper we study the well-known family of Random Utility Models, developed over 50 years ago to codify rational user behavior in choosing one item from a finite set of options. In this setting each user draws i.i.d. from some distribution a utility

Insertion of continuous set-valued mappings
An interesting result about the existence of "intermediate" set-valued mappings between pairs of such mappings was obtained by Nepomnyashchii. His construction was for a paracompact domain, and he remarked that his result is similar to Dowker's insertion theorem and may represent a generalisation of this theorem.

Abstract Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) is an autosomal recessive hemoglobinopathy affecting millions of individuals worldwide. The clinical expression and psychosocial burden of SCD vary widely across geographical, cultural, and healthcare system contexts, underscoring the need for setting‐specific approaches to assessment.

Learning a Hybrid Architecture for Sequence Regression and Annotation
When learning a hidden Markov model (HMM), sequen- tial observations can often be complemented by real-valued summary response variables generated from the path of hid- den states. Such settings arise in numerous domains, includ- ing many applications in

The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study a new class of nonlinear mixed ordered inclusion problems in ordered Banach spaces and to obtain an existence theorem and a comparability theorem of the resolvent operator. Further, by using fixed point

Global and Pullback Attractors of Set-Valued Skew Product Flows [PDF]
We investigate the asymptotic behaviour of a general set-valued skew product flow (SVSPF), that is, a set-valued cocycle mapping (coming from a nonautonomous differential equation or inclusion) driven by another, autonomous, system.

ABSTRACT Chemotherapy‐induced peripheral neuropathy remains a major complication in pediatric cancer, with disrupted somatosensory and nociceptive processing being a key aspect. This review synthesizes empirical studies on alterations in somatosensory and nociceptive processing in children and adolescents with cancer.

Generalized Implicit Set-Valued Variational Inclusion Problem with ⊕ Operation
In this paper, we consider a resolvent operator which depends on the composition of two mappings with ⊕ operation. We prove some of the properties of the resolvent operator, that is, that it is single-valued as well as Lipschitz-type-continuous. An

Integral Dissipative Set-valued Maps [PDF]
Integral dissipativity arises over a period of time. This dissipativity for multivalued maps has some intrinsic properties together with their convexification. The space of Aumann integrable maps endowed with Hausdorff topology having this dissipativity condition is a complete metric space.
