Sistema de clasificación de las setas de crustáceos Stygocarididae y Patagonaspididae (Anaspidacea)
Se clasificaron las extensiones cuticulares de especies de las familias Stygocarididae Noodt, 1963, y Patagonaspididae Grosso y Peralta, 2002 (Anaspidacea), en base a observaciones con microscopía óptica y electrónica.

A new combination in Strophopappus (Asteraceae, Vernonieae, Lepidaploinae)
Revisions of herbarium collections reveal a new combination in Strophopappus (Asteraceae, Vernonieae, Lepidaploinae). Strophopappus comprises nine species occurring in South America, eight of which are endemic to Brazil. Currently, Vernonia riedeliana is treated as a synonym of Strophopappus bicolor.

Peri‐apical masses were absent in both wild and semi‐wild Cape ground squirrels, despite dietary differences and minor incisor trauma. These findings suggest such lesions are rare outside captivity and not induced by low‐fiber diets alone, adding to the literature on environmental and dietary risk factors in elodont tooth pathology.
