Comportamento do gramado submetido aos herbicidas clethodim e sethoxydim.

open access: yesOrnamental Horticulture, 2007

Target-site mutations Ile1781Leu and Ile2041Asn in the ACCase2 gene confer resistance to fluazifop-p-butyl and pinoxaden herbicides in a johnsongrass accession from Arkansas, USA. [PDF]

open access: yesPlant Direct
Abstract Johnsongrass [Sorghum halepense (L.) Pers.] is a troublesome weed species in different agricultural and non‐agricultural areas. Because of its biology, reproductive system, and seed production, effective management is challenging. An accession with low susceptibility to the acetyl‐CoA carboxylase (ACCase)‐inhibiting herbicides fluazifop‐p ...

Selection and Characterization of Sethoxydim- Tolerant Maize Tissue Cultures [PDF]

open access: yesPlant Physiology, 1990
;Black Mexican Sweet' (BMS) maize (Zea mays L.) tissue cultures were selected for tolerance to sethoxydim. Sethoxydim, a cyclohexanedione, and haloxyfop, an aryloxyphenoxypropionate, exert herbicidal activity on most monocots including maize by inhibiting acetyl-coenzyme A carboxylase (ACCase). Selected line B10S grew on medium containing 10 micromolar

Selectivity of post-emergent herbicides and weed control for sesame

open access: yesAgrarian, 2021
The expansion of sesame (Sesamum indicum) sowing in Brazil is hampered by problems related to weed management. Therefore, the aim was to evaluate the selectivity of herbicides applied in post-emergence in sesame, as well as the productive response of the

ZZE-Configuration of chromophore ß-153 in C-phycocyanin from Mastigocladus laminosus [PDF]

open access: yes, 1987
The photochemistry of C-phycocyanin has been studied after denaturation in the dark. It shows an irreversible reaction which has characteristics of a Ζ,Ζ,Ε- to Z,Z,Z-isomerization of dihydrobilins. Its amplitude depends on the reaction conditions, with

Sethoxydim-Uptake by Leaf Slices of Sethoxydim Resistant and Sensitive Grasses

open access: yesZeitschrift für Naturforschung C, 1987
Leaf slices of the sethoxydim sensitive grasses Poa pratensis and Festuca ovina and the sethoxy- dim resistant grasses Poa annua and Festuca rubra take up the herbicide at similar rates. Uptake is almost linear with concentration up to 2 mᴍ, independent of light and little affected by temperature between 0 and 25 °C. Uptake is highly pH sensitive.

Evolved polygenic herbicide resistance in Lolium rigidum by low-dose herbicide selection within standing genetic variation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The interaction between environment and genetic traits under selection is the basis of evolution. In this study, we have investigated the genetic basis of herbicide resistance in a highly characterized initially herbicide-susceptible Lolium rigidum ...

Residue Analysis of Herbicide Sethoxydim

open access: yesJournal of Pesticide Science, 1987
An analytical method for the residue of sethoxydim [(±)2-(1-ethoxyiminobutyl)-5-[2-(ethylthio) propyl]-3-hydroxycyclohex-2-enone, STM] in crops was established using high-performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC). A chopped sample was extracted with 50% aqueous methanol (including 5% Na2S2O3) and STM was transferred to n-hexane.

Exploring the Joint Association Between Agrichemical Mixtures and Pediatric Cancer. [PDF]

open access: yesGeohealth
Abstract Nebraska's age‐adjusted incidence rates for childhood cancers are among the highest in the US. Previous studies indicated associations between agrichemical exposures (atrazine and nitrates) and pediatric cancer rate, assuming single pollutant exposure.

Effect of Vegetable Oils on the Surface Tension, Diffusion and Efficiency of Sethoxydim to Control Wild oat (Avena ludoviciana Durieu.)

open access: yesMajallah-i ḥifāẓat-i giyāhān, 2017
Introduction: During last century, population explosion has been pressing man to produce more supplies of food by consuming more energy in agroecosystems like applying chemical management strategies. herbicides have increasingly become a key component of
