Efficacy of Soybean Herbicides on Annual Morninglory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
Field experiments were established in 2000 and 2001 at the Agricultural Research and Education Complex in Bowling Green, Kentucky to evaluate herbicide efficacy on annual morningglory (Ipomoea spp.) species and other weeds.

Reduced nitrogen rate sustains malt barley yield and quality in malt barley‐pea rotation

open access: yesAgronomy Journal, Volume 116, Issue 6, Page 3021-3032, November/December 2024.
Abstract Rotational benefit of pea (Pisum sativum L.) may reduce N fertilization rate and sustain malt barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) yield and quality in the malt barley‐pea rotation. This study examined the effect of cover crop [oat (Avena sativa L.) cover crop vs.

Valerian (Valeriana officinalis L.) tolerance to some post-emergence herbicides

open access: yesJournal of Plant Protection Research, 2015
Valerian (Valeriana officinalis L.) is a medicinal plant, but its cultivation is restricted by weed competition. Therefore, three rates (0.75X, 1X, and 1.25X, where X is equal to the recommended dose of haloxyfop-R (methyl ester), sethoxydim, oxadiargyl,

Phenological constancy and management interventions predict population trends in at‐risk butterflies in the United States

open access: yesJournal of Applied Ecology, Volume 61, Issue 10, Page 2455-2469, October 2024.
Populations with less phenological constancy are more likely to be rapidly declining and populations with more frequent management interventions are increasing. These results suggest that one key outcome of management interventions may be to mitigate some of the impacts of climate change, which in turn may contribute to higher population growth.

Resistance to ACCase inhibitors in Eleusine indica from Brazil involves a target site mutation Resistência aos inibidores de ACCase em Eleusine indica do Brasil envolve uma mutação na enzima alvo

open access: yesPlanta Daninha, 2012
Eleusine indica (goosegrass) is a diploid grass weed which has developed resistance to ACCase inhibitors during the last ten years due to the intensive and frequent use of sethoxydim to control grass weeds in soybean crops in Brazil.

Green foxtail (Setaria viridis) resistance to acetolactate synthase inhibitors [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002

Persistence of dicamba residue in harvested soybeans

open access: yesAgrosystems, Geosciences &Environment, Volume 7, Issue 3, September 2024.
Abstract Adoption of dicamba‐tolerant soybeans contributed to widespread reports of chemical trespassing on adjacent, sensitive soybeans. Reports of the impact of dicamba on sensitive soybeans (Glycine max L.) have been well documented; however, the potential for dicamba carryover into harvested beans from sensitive plants has largely been overlooked ...

Avaliação da eficiência de controle de plantas daninhas gramíneas do herbicida clethodim em algodoeiro herbáceo (Gossypium hirsutum var. latifolium Hutch.) Evaluation of the efficiency on the control of gramineous weeds by the herbicide clethodim in a herbaceous cotton crop (Gossypium hirsutum var. latifolium Hutch.)

open access: yesPlanta Daninha, 1992
Com o objetivo de conhecer a eficiência do herbicida clethodim no controle de plantas daninhas gramíneas e seu comportamento seletivo na cultura do algodão, cv. IAC-20, foi instalado um experimento em solo aluvial de textura arenosa.
