Steering Industrial Decarbonisation: Explaining OECD Policy Variation
Environmental Policy and Governance, EarlyView.ABSTRACT
The ongoing rise in CO2 emissions driven by energy‐intensive industries highlights the urgent need for targeted policy interventions, with national strategies playing a crucial role in the low‐carbon transition. However, the factors that shape the ambition of industrial decarbonisation policies remain poorly understood.Ebba Minaswiley +1 more sourceCreating a Seto Epic

Earthquake Engineering &Structural Dynamics, EarlyView.ABSTRACT
On July 29th, 2025, a large earthquake (Mw 8.8) occurred near the Kamchatka Peninsula. This event caused a tsunami that reached Japan's Pacific coast, even though the source was far away. In this study, we analyze the characteristics of earthquakes and tsunamis and discuss how they relate to the recurrence possibility and risk in Japan.Ampan Laosunthara, An‐Chi Cheng, Yo Fukushima, Yoshinori Shigihara, Natt Leelawat, Anawat Suppasri, Fumihiko Imamura +6 morewiley +1 more sourceFrequency of ZFHX3‐Mediated Spinocerebellar Ataxia 4 in a US Undiagnosed Ataxia Cohort
Movement Disorders, EarlyView.Abstract Background
Spinocerebellar ataxia 4 (SCA4) is a late‐onset dominant ataxia with neuropathy caused by exonic GGC repeat expansion in the ZFHX3 gene thought to originate from a Swedish founder event. The GC‐rich expansion is highly thermodynamically stable, posing challenges for standard clinical genetic testing methods.Annie Chen, Udbhav Avadhani, Kathie Ngo, Rosario I. Corona, George de V. Sustainable Development, EarlyView.ABSTRACT
Cities and communities play important roles in sustainable development and climate change mitigation. This study presents a novel framework for developing carbon‐neutral visions for cities and communities. We established five “principles,” investigated options encompassing four parameters (management, goal setting, actions, and quantification),Kei Gomi, Makoto Ooba, Shogo Nakamura, Kohei Sakai, Satoshi Nagatomi +4 morewiley +1 more source
