ABSTRACT Results of COG ANBL1221 changed treatment paradigms for patients with relapsed/refractory neuroblastoma. Chemoimmunotherapy with irinotecan/temozolomide/dinutuximab is now used as both bridge therapy following suboptimal response to induction and as treatment in first relapse.

Processes of Integration and Fragmentation of Economic Space: The Structure of Settlement Systems [PDF]
This work presents a study of processes of integration and fragmentation caused by the polarization of economic space. Under integration in economic space the authors understand the formation of new and transformation of existing settlement systems ...

ABSTRACT Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) has undergone major changes in the last decades. Its prevalence has been steadily increasing and numerous advances have been made in the management of the disease. However, the effect in real‐life setting of these major changes is unknown, particularly in a Canadian environment. Procedure We aimed to assess

Settlement-Size Scaling among Prehistoric Hunter-Gatherer Settlement Systems in the New World. [PDF]
Settlement size predicts extreme variation in the rates and magnitudes of many social and ecological processes in human societies. Yet, the factors that drive human settlement-size variation remain poorly understood.

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Large Deformation Settlement Series Solution and Numerical Simulation for Underpass Project Track
The settlement of track in a railroad underpass project was studied by theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, based on the model of winkle beam on elastic foundation. Taking the settlement of roadbed as a nonlinear boundary condition, the control

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.
