Benign Adrenal Adenomas Are Associated With Reduced Prevalence of Hospitalised Patients With COVID‐19

open access: yesClinical Endocrinology, Volume 104, Issue 3, Page 207-214, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction Adrenal incidentalomas (AI) are commonly found on imaging done for indications other than to assess the adrenal glands. Prevalence increases with age and is around 10% in people over 80 years. The majority of AIs are benign adenomas, with 20%−50% exhibiting mild autonomous cortisol secretion (MACS).

Mycoplasma pneumoniae‐Induced Rash and Mucositis: Clinicopathologic Characterization of 11 Cases

open access: yesJournal of Cutaneous Pathology, Volume 53, Issue 3, Page 276-283, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Mycoplasma pneumoniae ‐induced rash and mucositis (MIRM) is a mucocutaneous eruption affecting children and young adults with respiratory tract or clinically occult infection by M. pneumoniae . Mucosal involvement is often robust and may raise concern for Stevens–Johnson syndrome/toxic epidermal necrolysis (SJS/TEN). Histopathologic

Persistent Leukoencephalopathy Following H1N1 Infection Associated With a Novel MYRF Variant (p.Gly735Asp)

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, Volume 13, Issue 2, Page 405-412, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Mutations in myelin regulatory factor (MYRF) are linked to demyelinating disorders. We report a 38‐year‐old male who developed acute symmetric leukoencephalopathy mimicking a stroke following an influenza A virus infection. While clinical symptoms markedly improved with corticosteroids, MRI revealed persistent white matter lesions, contrasting
