Comparing the ill-posedness for linear operators in Hilbert spaces [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
The difficulty for solving ill-posed linear operator equations in Hilbert space is reflected by the strength of ill-posedness of the governing operator, and the inherent solution smoothness. In this study we focus on the ill-posedness of the operator, and we propose a partial ordering for the class of all bounded linear operators which lead to ill ...

Altered Brain‐Behavior Association During Resting State is a Potential Psychosis Risk Marker

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study detects a potential multimodal biomarker that can be promising for identifying early markers of psychosis. It shows a consistent brain‐behavior association between a circuit of interconnected regions and executive function in neurotypical controls and individuals at various stages of psychosis.

The Achieved Capabilities Questionnaire for Community Mental Health (ACQ‐CMH): A consumer‐based measure for the evaluation of community mental health interventions

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Community Psychology, Volume 70, Issue 3-4, Page 327-339, December 2022., 2022
Abstract The capabilities approach offers a multidimensional, ecological, and agent‐centered framework that may inspire models of intervention and evaluation. A growing number of measures grounded on the capabilities approach for outcome measurement are appearing.

Risk Estimators for Choosing Regularization Parameters in Ill-Posed Problems - Properties and Limitations [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2017
This paper discusses the properties of certain risk estimators recently proposed to choose regularization parameters in ill-posed problems. A simple approach is Stein's unbiased risk estimator (SURE), which estimates the risk in the data space, while a recent modification (GSURE) estimates the risk in the space of the unknown variable.

Programmable NIR Responsive Nanocomposite Enables Noninvasive Intratympanic Delivery of Dexamethasone to Reverse Cisplatin Induced Hearing Loss

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, saponin‐coated silica@gold nanocarriers responsive to NIR radiation is developed to enhance intratympanic drug delivery for cisplatin‐induced hearing loss (CIHL) treatment. The biocompatibility and oto‐protective properties are validated both in vitro and in vivo.
