An electrochemical sewage treatment process
Journal of Applied Electrochemistry, 1980Electrolysis of mixtures of sea water and waste water from a secondary treatment plant has been studied; the current density and the inter-electrode gap were varied. The results show a fast elimination of phosphorus compounds under favourable conditions.

Sewage Treatment and Schistosome Eggs
The American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, 1964Summary A study was undertaken to determine the efficiency with which three types of sewage treatment in Puerto Rico remove eggs of Schistosoma mansoni and Ascaris lumbricoides. In the plants studied, primary sedimentation and decantation methods removed 35 to 74 percent of the Ascaris eggs and 83 percent of the schistosome eggs.
