Rapid detection of mouse spermatogenic defects by testicular cellular composition analysis via enhanced deep learning model

open access: yesAndrology, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Histological analysis of the testicular sections is paramount in infertility research but tedious and often requires months of training and practice. Objectives Establish an expeditious histopathological analysis of mutant mice testicular sections stained with commonly available hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) via enhanced deep learning

EP300‐interacting inhibitor of differentiation 3 is required for spermatogenesis in mice

open access: yesAndrology, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Mammalian spermatogenesis is a highly complex process of cell proliferation, meiosis, and differentiation. A series of genes are expressed in an orderly and precise manner to ensure spermatogenesis, with chromatin undergoing intricate changes throughout.

Semen cryopreservation and storage in liquid nitrogen: Impact on chromatin compaction

open access: yesAndrology, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Sperm cryopreservation is a consolidate option for long‐term male fertility preservation. The freezing/thawing procedure causes detrimental effects to spermatozoa, including damage to viability, motility, membrane composition, and DNA, whereas the effect on sperm chromatin compaction is less studied.

A WHO 2021‐based comprehensive scheme outlining sperm parameters’ associations with IVF outcomes in PGT‐A cycles

open access: yesAndrology, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective To examine the association between semen parameters, assessed according to World Health Organization (WHO)‐2021 criteria, and paternal body mass index (BMI) and age, with embryological and clinical outcomes in ICSI cycles involving preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT‐A).

Effects of AZFc (b2/b4, b1/b3, b2/b3, and gr/gr) deletions and primary duplications on the outcomes of the first intracytoplasmic sperm injection treatment cycle: A single‐center retrospective cohort study

open access: yesAndrology, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Current advances in high‐throughput sequencing technology enable the precise identification of Y chromosome microdeletion and primary duplication in infertile couples, but the mechanism and clinical significance of these mutations in assisted reproductive techniques remain unclear.

A case of CIC‐rearranged sarcoma with CIC‐LEUTX gene fusion in spinal cord

open access: yesNeuropathology, Volume 42, Issue 6, Page 555-562, December 2022., 2022
A 16‐year‐old male was admitted to the hospital for weakness of both lower extremities. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed an intraspinal extramedullary subdural mass at the thoracic 9 level. Microscopically, the tumor cells were small to medium sized and round to ovoid in shape.
