Global Burden of Diseases Attributable to Early Maturation in 2021

Early maturation significantly contributed to the global burden of seven major non‐communicable diseases, accounting for an estimated 11.2 million new cases worldwide in 2021. Our analysis revealed that this burden disproportionately affected females and populations in more developed regions.
