Sexual Appetite and Sexual Drive
Psychological Reports, 1965Hardy's appetitional theory of sexuality is examined critically and compared with Freud's libidinal drive theory. It is maintained that sexuality is both a drive and an appetite and that Freud's theory is more complete than Hardy's because it deals with both of these aspects.
