Combining Theory with Experiment: Assessment of the Thermochemistry of SFn, SFn+, and SFn-, n = 1-6
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 1995The comparison of the experimental thermochemical data and G2 or [G2(MP2)] predictions for SF{sub n}, SF{sub n}{sup +}, and SF{sub n} {sup -} (n = 1-6) allows us to recommend a self-consistent set of experimental {Delta}{sub f}H{degree}{sub 0}, IE, EA, D{degree}{sub 0} values for these systems.

SFN-SISO and SFN-MISO Gain Performance Analysis for DVB-T2 Network Planning
IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting, 2014In DVB-T2, the single frequency network (SFN) mode is an attractive planning alternative to the well-known multiple frequency network (MFN) mode. SFN networks provide augmented spectrum efficiency as well as a quality of service improvement due to a more homogeneous distribution of the received signal strength over the coverage area. Nevertheless, some

2009 IEEE International Symposium on Broadband Multimedia Systems and Broadcasting, 2009
DVB-H networks allow high data rate broadcast services for hand-held terminals. A comparison of the SFN gain based on the electric-field strength and the carrier-to-interference-plus-noise ratio CINR will be presented in this paper. The measurement procedure will be presented and the obtained gains for the electric-field strength and CINR will be ...

Measurement and Modeling of DTTV–SFN Propagation in Thailand
Wireless Personal Communications, 2020Digital terrestrial television (DTTV) with a single frequency network (SFN) in Thailand is based on digital video broadcasting-terrestrial second generation (DVB-T2) standard. The signal quality of DTTV–SFN is very important. DVB-T2 is improved from traditional terrestrial television broadcasting technology in term of modulation which is coded ...

DTMB Application in Shanghai SFN Transmission Network
IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting, 2013In this paper, a single frequency network (SFN) application of the digital terrestrial multimedia broadcasting (DTMB) system in Shanghai is presented. A three-stage implementation practice is described in details. Computer simulations of DTMB receiver in severe dynamic multipath channels are presented to verify the method of SFN adjustments.

Optimally Interleaved Signals for SFN
IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting, 2008This paper focuses on how designing transmit signals improves performance of single frequency networks (SFNs), employing multiple distributed transmit antennas. Considering the effect of multipath fading, pairwise error probability conditioned on shadowing is derived to show that the achievable diversity order of SFNs increases as the number of ...

Phase Adjustment in HS-SFN for HSDPA
2012 5th International Conference on New Technologies, Mobility and Security (NTMS), 2012Abstract-High Speed Single Frequency Network (HS-SFN) is one of the possible multi-cell transmission schemes for High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA). This technique helps user equipments (UEs) in the softer handover area by combining signals from two neighbouring cells and also by reducing intercell interference. However, combining of two signals

SFN: A new lightweight block cipher
Microprocessors and Microsystems, 2018Abstract During past few years, some lightweight block ciphers have been proposed. These lightweight block ciphers take single encryption method that either uses Substitution-Permutation (SP) network structure or Feistel network structure to encrypt.

SFN-scope: an innovative field analysis system for SFN DVB-T signals
International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) 2014 Conference, 2014With the transition to digital TV and the adoption of Single Frequency Networks (SFN), the quality control of the terrestrial broadcast signal becomes much more complex, because a given geographical area is served by several transmitters simultaneously.
