Impact of Sub-Band Correlation on SFR and Comparison of FFR and SFR

IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, 2016
In soft frequency reuse (SFR) when the user is classified as a cell-center user based on signal-to-interference-plus-noise-ratio in a sub-band, the user retains its sub-band. On the other hand, if the user is classified as a cell-edge user, a new sub-band is allocated.

On the evolution of the SFR in galactic disks

Astrophysics and Space Science, 2003
A simple semi-empirical model of the evolution of observed ring-shaped radial distributions of SFR surface density in galaxies NGC 628 and NGC 6946 provides us with exponential stellar disks with cooresponding scale length of the surface brightness radial distributions and constraints for the some nonobservable parameters: characteristic SFR decreasing

An adaptive SFR in multicell networks

2013 IEEE 24th Annual International Symposium on Personal, Indoor, and Mobile Radio Communications (PIMRC), 2013
This paper proposes an adaptive soft frequency reuse (SFR) scheme with the goal of improving the cell-edge performance as well as the overall cell throughput. The proposed scheme is effective, flexible and cell environments adaptive. Specifically, we consider both consecutive and distributed subcarrier allocation for cell-edge users, and use the QoS ...

Oral health in SFR Yugoslavia in 1986

Community Dentistry and Oral Epidemiology, 1988
Abstract A pilot oral health epidemiological survey using WHO assessment forms was conducted in Yugoslavia in the year 1986. The study population consisted of 2600 persons aged 6, 12, 15, 18, 35–4, and over 65 yr. The survey included 22 towns (11 developed and 11 underdeveloped) in the six Republics and two Provinces of Yugoslavia.

Enhanced dynamic SFR for LTE systems

2014 IEEE/CIC International Conference on Communications in China (ICCC), 2014
Soft frequency reuse (SFR) schemes have been proposed to mitigate the inter-cell interferences (ICI) issue for capacity improvements at cell edge. Nonetheless, the allocation of subcarriers in SFR reduces spectral efficiency in specific cell areas, resulting in the decrease of the system throughput.

The SFR and IMF of the galactic disk

Astrophysics and Space Science, 2003
There is a long term dynamical heating of stellar populations with age observed in the age — velocity dispersion — relation (A V R). This effect allows a determination of the star formation history S F R(t) from local kinematical data of main sequence stars.

Uplink analysis for FFR and SFR in composite fading

2012 IEEE 23rd International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications - (PIMRC), 2012
This paper presents an analytic framework using area spectral efficiency (ASE) for evaluating the uplink performance of Frequency Reuse (FR) techniques. There are two main FR techniques which are the Fractional Frequency Reuse (FFR) and Soft Frequency Reuse (SFR).

SFR: Scalable forwarding with RINA for distributed clouds

2015 6th International Conference on the Network of the Future (NOF), 2015
Distributed clouds have been regarded as the key enabling technology to provide new trends of services. The contribution of this paper is twofold. First, we discuss current distributed clouds architecture and highlight the issues involved, specifically scalability.
