Targeting property flood resilience in flood risk management
Abstract In this article, we evaluate property flood resilience (PFR) to manage pluvial and combined tidal/ fluvial flood risks. We achieve this by evaluating flood risk and intervention targeting strategies across a case study in Bristol (UK) using data types generally available for preliminary option assessment.

Evaluating the Inter-Resonance Characteristics of Various Power Transformer Winding Designs
Resonance is a very familiar phenomenon in electrical circuits that occurs when a frequency of incoming signal is similar to the natural frequency of the electrical circuit. When resonance occurs, excessive over-voltage may appear. Resonance over-voltage

Power transformer geometry monitoring of active parts by SFRA method [PDF]
During regular operation, power transformer windings are continuously exposed to electromechanical stresses and vibrations. Surges during lightning or short circuits may cause the weakening of the mechanical structure and the mechanical reinforcing parts

Integrated Transformer Health Estimation Methodology Based on Markov Chains and Evidential Reasoning
Due to the large number of power transformers (ETs) in the distribution system, there is a need for a relatively simple representation of the status of each unit in order to more easily determine where and how to allocate the budget for preventive and corrective maintenance.
