SFT

ACM SIGOPS Operating Systems Review, 1998
SFT algorithm, a consistent checkpointing algorithm with shorter freezing time, is presented in this paper. SFT is able to implement fault-tolerance in distributed systems. The features of the algorithm include shorter freezing time, lower overhead, and simple roll backing.

Therapeutic plasma exchange combined with ribavirin to rescue critical SFTS patients

Journal of clinical apheresis
Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) is a zoonotic infectious disease caused by the severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus (SFTSV). Endemic in East Asia, SFTS is characterized by an exceptionally high mortality rate.

SFT modules and ring extensions

Beiträge zur Algebra und Geometrie / Contributions to Algebra and Geometry, 2023
Generalizing Arnold's definition of SFT (strongly finite type) rings, the authors introduce and study SFT modules. Assume that \(A\) is a commutative ring. A submodule \(N\) of an \(A\)-module \(M\) is an \textit{SFT submodule} if there exist a positive integer \(k\) and a finitely generated submodule \(N_{0}\) of \(N\) such that \(a^{k}\in (N_0:M ...

Clinical Aspects of SFTS

2019
Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) is an emerging tick-born disease. The incubation period after tick-bite is generally 6–14 days. The typical course of SFTS has three clinical stages, the “fever stage”, the “multiple organ failure stage”, and the “convalescent stage”.

Momentum-Space SFT

2020
In this chapter, we describe the general properties of SFT actions in the momentum space. This allows to make SFT more intuitive, but also to use standard QFT methods to prove various properties of string theory. We explain how the Wick rotation is generalized for theories with vertices diverging at infinite real energies (Lorentzian signature).

A Direct Inversion Formula for SFT

Sankhya A, 2014
The subject of the paper is the stochastic Fourier transformation, for short SFT. The paper is a continuation of the author's previous works [C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. A 288, 359--362 (1979; Zbl 0397.60047); Japan J. Appl. Math. 2, 229--240 (1985; Zbl 0616.60056); in: Patterns and waves.

Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) of the pelvis

Clinical Imaging, 2008
Solitary fibrous tumors (SFTs) are well recognized in the pleura, but their occurrence at other sites has only become appreciated in recent years, as a consequence of which extrapleural examples often go unrecognized and misdiagnosed. Because of their rarity, overall experience concerning this tumor has not been significant and reports detailing ...

Laboratory Diagnosis for SFTS

2019
Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) is a newly emerged infectious disease in China, Japan and South Korea. The clinical manifestations of SFTS include fever, diarrhea, organ dysfunction, thrombocytopenia and leucocytopenia. Because the clinical manifestations of SFTS are non-specific, laboratory diagnosis is essential for the ...

SFT — Segmented Flow Topology

1994
The material handling system plays a critical role in many manufacturing systems. It is used mainly for transporting and storage of raw material, Work-In-Progress (WIP) and finished goods. The quality of a material handling system is measured in terms of its efficiency in moving the right material to the right place at the right time while maintaining ...
