In this work, low bandgap (≈1.55 eV) semitransparent perovskite solar cells (ST‐PSCs) having thin (thickness < ≈100 nm) perovskite layers and transparent conductive oxide‐based rear electrodes are fabricated using vacuum‐deposition methods. Two different ST‐PSCs demonstrated a high light utilization efficiency value of 4.2 (PCE: 9.26% and AVT: 45.3 ...

Decentralization and the Shadow Economy: Oates Meets Allingham-Sandmo [PDF]
This paper studies the impact of decentralization on the shadow economy. We argue that decentralization may decrease the size of the shadow economy mainly through two transmission channels: (1) Decentralization enhancing public sector efficiency ...

Spin‐Split Edge States in Metal‐Supported Graphene Nanoislands Obtained by CVD
Combining STM measurements and ab‐initio calculations, we show that zig‐zag edges in graphene nanoislands grown on Ni(111) by CVD retrieve their spin‐polarized edge states after intercalation of a few monolayers of Au. ABSTRACT Spin‐split states localized on zigzag edges have been predicted for different free‐standing graphene nanostructures.

Dynamism and Inertia on the Russian Labour Market: A Model of Segmentation [PDF]
This paper proposes an explanation of the puzzling coexistence of elements of inertia and dynamism on the Russian labour market using a segmentation model. Risk averse workers are differentiated according to their productivity.

Atomistic Mechanisms Triggered by Joule Heating Effects in Metallic Cu‐Bi Nanowires for Spintronics
Bi doped metallic Cu nanowires are promising for spintronics thanks to the stabilization of a giant spin Hall effect. However, heat resulting from current injection forces Bi to leave solution, forcing segregation into monoatomic decorations which evolve into coherent crystalline aggregates.

Numerical simulation of nonoptimal dynamic equilibrium models [PDF]
In this paper we present a recursive method for the computation of dynamic competitive equilibria in models with heterogeneous agents and market frictions. This method is based on a convergent operator over an expanded set of state variables.

The underground economy is a persistent obstacle with far-reaching economic, political, cultural and institutional dimensions. It may have the potential to absorb unemployment, increase well-being and mitigate poverty, but it simultaneously stifles national competitiveness and economic growth, undermines legislation and the aim of social policies, and ...
