Shaking table tests on landfills and identification of progressive damage energy

open access: yesYantu gongcheng xuebao
In order to investigate the damage deformation characteristics of landfills containing drainage layer and liners under earthquake, a large shaking table test on a landfill slope containing drainage layer and liners is carried out, and an energy ...

Investigation of liquefaction in layered sands by means of shaking table tests

open access: yes, 2006
In this paper the results of shaking table model tests which were conducted to investigate the liquefaction mechanism in layered soils are presented. The layered sand columns were constructed with a 1 cm thick seam of silt within the sand deposit to separate the upper and lower sand layers.

Composites of Shellac and Silver Nanowires as Flexible, Biobased, and Corrosion‐Resistant Transparent Conductive Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...

Shaking Table Array Tests of an Ultra-High-Voltage Cup-Type Transmission Tower-Line System

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2019
Ultra-high-voltage (UHV) cup-type transmission towers supported with long-span transmission lines are unavoidably subjected to the coupling action between the towers and the transmission lines. Therefore, investigating how tower-line coupling affects UHV

Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Self‐Sintering Ionogel Binder for Flexible, Recyclable, and Healable Printed Giant Magnetoresistive Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Electronic waste has emerged as a major environmental challenge, driven by the massive consumption and a limited lifetime of modern electronic devices, stimulating the development of sustainable electronics. Here, an all‐biomaterial gelatin‐choline‐citric acid ([Ch][CA]) ionogel is developed as an active binder to realize self‐sintered ...
