Shape Transformation Mechanism of Gallium–Indium Alloyed Liquid Metal Nanoparticles
Advanced Materials Interfaces, 2021Eutectic gallium indium (EGaIn) spherical liquid metal nanoparticles (NPs) can transform to gallium oxide hydroxide (GaOOH) microrods in water. Nevertheless, the mechanism of this process still remains unrevealed.

ENHANCED HIERARCHICAL SHAPE MATCHING FOR SHAPE TRANSFORMATION
International Journal of Shape Modeling, 2003Summary: The quality of 3D object transformation very often relies on the quality of the matching between the two objects. Geometric considerations regarding scale, rotation and translation, and user defined constraints are used to control the matching.

Shape features in distance transforms
SPIE Proceedings, 1993Shape features characterizing patterns represented by their distance transform are illustrated. The role they can play in pattern decomposition is described with reference to a process based on the detection of a number of pixels significant for shape interpretation.

Shape transformation in space-time
The Visual Computer, 1996We present a method for transforming shapes in a plane. The primary strength of the proposed method is that it can handle scenes containing moving obstacles. We attain a smooth transformation between two given polygonal shapes and ensure that the shape does not collide with any obstacle during the transformation.

Shape transformation for polyhedral objects
Proceedings of the 19th annual conference on Computer graphics and interactive techniques, 1992Techniques that transform one two-dimensionaf image into another have gained widespread use m recent yeara. Extending these techniques to transform pairs of 3D objects, as opposed to 2D images of the objects, providea several advsntagea, including the ability to snimate the objects independently of the transformation.
