An optical simulation of shared memory [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the sixth annual ACM symposium on Parallel algorithms and architectures - SPAA '94, 1994
Summary: We present a work-optimal randomized algorithm for simulating a shared memory machine (PRAM) on an optical communication parallel computer (OCPC). The OCPC model is motivated by the potential of optical communication for parallel computation. The memory of an OCPC is divided into modules, one module per processor.

Clinical Significance of Shared T Cell Epitope Analysis in Early De Novo Donor-Specific Anti-HLA Antibody Production After Kidney Transplantation and Comparison With Shared B cell Epitope Analysis

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2021
In pre-sensitizing events, immunological memory is mainly created via indirect allorecognition where CD4+ T cells recognize foreign peptides in the context of self-HLA class II (pHLA) presented on antigen-presenting cells.

Software-Level Memory Regulation to Reduce Execution Time Variation on Multicore Real-Time Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
Modern real-time embedded systems are equipped with multi-core processors to execute computationally intensive tasks. In multi-core architecture, last-level cache memory is shared by cores.

Manipulations of List Type in the DRM Paradigm: A Review of How Structural and Conceptual Similarity Affect False Memory

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2021
The use of list-learning paradigms to explore false memory has revealed several critical findings about the contributions of similarity and relatedness in memory phenomena more broadly. Characterizing the nature of “similarity and relatedness” can inform

Shared-Semaphored Cache Implementation for Parallel Program Execution in Multi-Core Systems [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electronics and Telecommunications, 2023
The paper brings forward an idea of multi-threaded computation synchronization based on the shared semaphored cache in the multi-core CPUs. It is dedicated to the implementation of multi-core PLC control, embedded solution or parallel computation of ...

‘Sharing for the memories’: Contemporary conceptualizations of memories by young women

open access: yesMemory Studies, 2022
This article examines how young women conceptualize memories within their language use. Through a microanalysis of how the term ‘memories’ and related expressions are mobilized by participants in interviews and digital traces shared on platforms, the study offers insight into everyday articulations of memory.
