Substrate Engineering of SWCNT p–n Junctions for Dual‐Mode Power Generation and Heat‐Flux Sensing
Through substrate engineering alone, a single‐walled carbon nanotube p–n junction device switches between two functions under uniform infrared irradiation. A low‐absorbance substrate sustains a central hot junction for continuous power generation, whereas high‐absorbance substrates transiently invert the temperature gradient for sensitive heat‐flux ...

Sheet‐Size‐Dependent Mosaicity of 2D Phyllosilicate Membranes
This study explores how the size of 2D vermiculite sheets affects the structure of laminar membranes. High‐resolution x‐ray diffraction reveals how sheet size governs structural disorder and crystallinity. These changes directly impact ion permeability.

Planar blade sharpening machine
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to construct a planar blade sharpening machine. Limitation of the design is maximal length of planar blade, 350 mm. First it is necessary to describe method of wood planing and used planers machines.

Mepce Restrains Ferroptosis in Prostate Cancer Through 7SK–P‐TEFb Pause Control
Genome‐wide CRISPR screening identifies MEPCE as a pause‐control regulator that restrains ferroptosis in prostate cancer. MEPCE loss releases P‐TEFb/CDK9 from 7SK snRNP control, enhances RNAPII Ser2 phosphorylation, and accelerates NRF2‐HMOX1‐driven labile iron accumulation and lipid peroxidation, revealing a transcriptional kinetic gate that lowers ...

Inverse Design of Pre‐Strain via a Predictive Electromechanical Model for Enhanced Strain Sensing
An analytical electromechanical model rooted in microcrack evolution mechanics is globally calibrated from only eight pre‐strain datasets, enabling prediction of the complete sensing response at untested pre‐strain values within the calibrated design space (R2 > 0.99).

Effects of Context and Peripheral Viewing on Perception of Sharpness
reservedThis work investigates two visual phenomena known as: effect of context and peripheral sharpening overconstancy. The effect of context predicts an advantage for images that are familiar rather than images that are unusual. Rossel et al.
