Shattered pellet injection (SPI) is a promising method for controlling plasma disruptions in tokamaks. In this study, we present numerical modelling of the fragmentation of cryogenic deuterium pellets within the context of SPI, using the peridynamic (PD)

Abstract Introduction Long‐acting injectable (LAI) cabotegravir/rilpivirine (CAB/RPV) represents a breakthrough in HIV treatment. However, understanding how to optimize real‐world service delivery and user experiences among people with HIV (PWH) remains limited. Methods Between August 2022 and December 2024, we conducted semi‐structured interviews with

3D non-linear MHD simulation of the MHD response and density increase as a result of shattered pellet injection [PDF]
The MHD response and the penetration of a deuterium shattered pellet into a JET plasma is investigated via the non-linear reduced MHD code JOREK with the neutral gas shielding (NGS) ablation model.

The JOREK non-linear extended MHD code and applications to large-scale instabilities and their control in magnetically confined fusion plasmas [PDF]
JOREK is a massively parallel fully implicit non-linear extended magneto-hydrodynamic (MHD) code for realistic tokamak X-point plasmas. It has become a widely used versatile simulation code for studying large-scale plasma instabilities and their control ...

Partisan sorting, fatalism, and Supreme Court legitimacy
Abstract This paper studies the contours of Supreme Court legitimacy. First, we construct a data set of surveys from 2012 to 2024 to show that diffuse support now diverges among partisans; we then analyze an original, six‐wave panel survey that reveals the stability of this partisan sorting.

In cell culture experiments, LC‐Root extract showed high cytotoxicity and morphological changes in MCF‐7, HepG2, and A549 cancerous cell lines, but no effect was observed in non‐cancerous cell lines (Vero). ELISA for apoptosis and angiogenesis confirmed the significantly increased apoptosis (p < 0.0001) (Annexin‐V) and reduced angiogenesis ...
