Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...

This study examines how pore shape and manufacturing‐induced deviations affect the mechanical properties of 3D‐printed lattice materials with constant porosity. Combining µ‐CT analysis, FEM, and compression testing, the authors show that structural imperfections reduce stiffness and strength, while bulk material inhomogeneities probably enhance ...

3D‐Printed Sulfur‐Derived Polymers With Controlled Architectures for Lithium‐Sulfur Batteries
Rheology‐guided formulation design for direct ink writing enables the fabrication of 3D sulfur copolymer cathodes with controlled architectures for lithium‐sulfur batteries. The printed electrodes exhibit multiscale porosity and high sulfur utilization, delivering enhanced electrochemical performance compared to conventional cast electrodes.

The random laser from sheared dye-doped polymer-dispersed liquid crystal (DDPDLC) is investigated. As the emission intensity weakens, the threshold of random laser from DDPDLC increases from 2.0 mJ/pulse to 4.0 mJ/pulse, and the degree of polarization ...

Evolution of twist-shear and dip-shear in Faring active region NOAA 10930
We study the evolution of magnetic shear angle in a flare productive active region NOAA 10930. The magnetic shear angle is defined as the deviation in the orientation of the observed magnetic field vector with respect to the potential field vector.

Implementation of Drug‐Induced Rhabdomyolysis and Acute Kidney Injury in Microphysiological System
A modular Muscle–Kidney proximal tubule‐on‐a‐chip integrates 3D skeletal muscle and renal proximal tubule tissues to model drug‐induced rhabdomyolysis and acute kidney injury. The coculture system enables dynamic tissue interaction, functional contraction monitoring, and quantification of nephrotoxicity, revealing drug side effect‐induced metabolic ...
