Shear bond strength of “one bottle” dentin adhesives

The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, 2000
Several 1-bottle dentin adhesive resins have been introduced to the market; however, their shear bond strength still requires further investigation. This study was designed to evaluate the shear bond strength of five 1-bottle fifth generation dentin adhesive resin materials.Bond 1, Single Bond, One-Step, Prime & Bond 2.1, and Tenure Quick with fluoride ...

Shear bond strength of four commercial bonding systems to cpTi

Dental Materials, 1995
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the bond strength of veneering composite to commercially pure titanium (cp Ti) using several different bonding systems and a post-cure heat treatment.Four commercial bonding systems (Cesead, Kuraray; New Metacolor, Sun Medical; Silicaoater MD, Kulzer; Termoresin LC II, GC) were evaluated.

Retentive shear strengths of various bonding attachment bases

American Journal of Orthodontics, 1980
The purpose of this study was to determine whether any of the commercially available attachment bases had significantly better retentive properties. This was determined by their shear strengths after all were bonded to bovine incisors with Auto-Tach. The mean shear strengths of sixteen bases were statistically compared to each other at 24 hours and at ...

Bond shear strength for adhesive bonded double-lap joints

International Journal of Solids and Structures, 1994
Abstract For adhesively bonded double-lap joints with an arbitrarily nonlinear shear stress-strain property, a simple formula is developed for predicting the bond shear strength developable between the adherends for the cohesive shear failure mode. In this formula, the bond shear strength is characterized by the maximum shear strain energy density of

Shear bond strength of dental amalgam bonded to dentin.

American journal of dentistry, 1991
The objective of this study was to determine the shear bond strength of dental amalgam bonded to dentin with adhesives. Four groups of 15 permanent posterior teeth were used in this study. The occlusal enamel of the teeth was removed to produce a flat dentin surface. The teeth were embedded in phenolic rings with acrylic resin.
