Mixing and Compounding of Graphene/High Density Polyethylene Nanocomposites Using Twin‐Screw and Octa‐Screw Extrusions: A Comparative Study

Advanced octa‐screw extrusion offers a breakthrough in compounding high‐viscosity polymer nanocomposites. By comparing twin‐ and octa‐screw extruders, this study reveals that the octa‐screw's unique intermeshing geometry achieves superior graphene exfoliation while preventing thermal degradation.
