Deep Beam Behavior Affected by Length and Shear Span variations,”

ACI Journal Proceedings, 1971
THE RESULTS OF AN INVESTIGATION OF 12 REINFORCED CONCRETE DEEP BEAMS ARE DESCRIBED IN WHICH THE VARIABLES A/D AND L/D ARE SYSTEMATICALLY VARIED AND OTHER MAJOR VARIABLES ARE KEPT CONSTANT. THE EFFECTS OF CHANGES IN A/D AND L/D ON FAILURE, DIAGONAL CRACKING, STEEL STRAINS AT THE SUPPORTS, MAXIMUM CRACK WIDTHS, AND MIDSPAN DEFLECTIONS ARE SUMMARIZED ...

SEISMIC PERFORMANCE OF PRESTRESSED CONCRETE COMPOSITE SHEAR WALL WITH MEDIUM SHEAR SPAN RATIO

A new type of prestressed concrete composite shear wall is put forward. This shear wall consists of double precast concrete slabs with steel trusses and prestressed steel and concrete-filled between the two slabs. The cracking resistance of precast slab is improved due to the prestressed steel and the thickness of this precast slab was reduced to 35 mm.

Punching Shear Behavior of Slabs With Varying Span-Depth Ratios

ACI Structural Journal, 1990
The results of an experimental investigation of the punching shesr strength of reinforced concrete slabs with varying span-depth ratios are summarized. Ten axisymmetric slabs were tested. The slab thickness was kept constant while the support diameter was varied to produce different span-depth ratios.
