SHEARLET TRANSFORMS AND DIRECTIONAL REGULARITIES

International Journal of Wavelets, Multiresolution and Information Processing, 2010
In an effort to characterize uniform and pointwise Hölder regularities, we obtain necessary decay rates and sufficient decay rates of continuous and discrete shearlet transform across scales. They are the same rates as those of the Hart Smith and continuous curvelet transforms.

The shearlet transform and asymptotic behavior of Lizorkin distributions

Applicable Analysis
In this paper, we establish Abelian and Tauberian results that characterize the quasiasymptotic behavior of Lizorkin distributions via the asymptotic behavior of their shearlet transform.

Multivariate time series forecasting method based on nonlinear spiking neural P systems and non-subsampled shearlet transform

Neural Networks, 2022
Multivariate time series forecasting remains a challenging task because of its nonlinear, non-stationary, high-dimensional, and spatial-temporal characteristics, along with the dependence between variables.

Shearlet Transform-Based Novel Method for Multimodality Medical Image Fusion Using Deep Learning

International Journal of Computational Intelligence and Applications, 2023
Multi-modality medical image fusion (MMIF) methods were widely used in a variety of clinical settings. For specialists, MMIF could provide an image containing anatomical and physiological information that can help develop diagnostic procedures. Different

Shearlets as Multi-scale Radon Transforms

Sampling Theory in Signal and Image Processing, 2017
It is shown that the 2D-shearlet transform is the composition of the affine Radon transform, a 1D-wavelet transform and a 1D-convolution. This is applied to give an alternative proof of the fact that the shearlet transform is able to resolve the wavefront set associated with the unit disc.

Spatial Intuitionistic Fuzzy C-means with Calcifications enhancement based on Nonsubsampled Shearlet Transform to detect Masses and Microcalcifications from MLO Mammograms

2023 Advanced Computing and Communication Technologies for High Performance Applications (ACCTHPA), 2023
Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women and the second leading cause of cancer death in this group. It is difficult, however, to diagnose cancer.

COORBIT SPACE THEORY FOR THE TOEPLITZ SHEARLET TRANSFORM

International Journal of Wavelets, Multiresolution and Information Processing, 2012
In this paper we are concerned with the continuous shearlet transform in arbitrary space dimensions where the shear operation is of Toeplitz type. In particular, we focus on the construction of associated shearlet coorbit spaces and on atomic decompositions and Banach frames for these spaces.

Infrared and Visible Image Fusion via Sparse Representation and Adaptive Dual-Channel PCNN Model Based on Co-Occurrence Analysis Shearlet Transform

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement
The principle of image fusion is to integrate complementary information of the heterogeneous images to obtain a fused image that is more in line with the visual effect of the human eyes. However, most decomposition methods cannot distinguish the textures

Sparse-Promoting 3-D Airborne Electromagnetic Inversion Based on Shearlet Transform

IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, 2022
The conventional, L2-norm-based, regularization term in electromagnetic (EM) inversions implements smooth constraints on model complexity in the space domain, which can smoothen the boundaries of complex underground structures.
