Effect of Finishing Rolling Temperature on Texture and Formability of Ultra-Purified Ferritic Stainless Steel Cr22Mo

open access: yesTeshugang, 2017
The tested steel Cr22Mo 200 mm cast slab is heated at 1 150 °C for 150 min, hot-rough-rolled with 7 passes- finishing rolled with 7 passes to 4. 0 mm hot-rolled coil, annealed at 980 ~ 1 030 °C and cold-rolled to 0. 8 mm sheet and annealed at 950 〜1 020 °

Formability of high strength aluminium sheet [PDF]

open access: yes, 1982
An initial review of the subject emphasises the need for improved fuel efficiency in vehicles and the possible role of aluminium in reducing weight. The problems of formability generally in manufacture and of aluminium in particular are discussed in the light of published data. A range of thirteen commercially available sheet aluminium alloys have been

Integrated Process Simulation and Die Design in Sheet Metal Forming [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
During the recent 10-15 years, Computer Aided Process Planning and Die Design evolved as one of the most important engineering tools in sheet metal forming, particularly in the automotive industry. This emerging role is strongly emphasized by the rapid

Advancing Electronic Application of Coordination Solids: Enhancing Electron Transport and Device Integration via Surface‐Mounted MOFs (SURMOFs)

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The layer‐by‐layer (LbL) assembly of coordination solids, enabled by the surface‐mounted metal‐organic framework (SURMOF) platform, is on the cusp of generating the organic counterpart of the epitaxy of inorganics. The programmable and sequential SURMOF protocol, optimized by machine learning (ML), is suited for accessing high‐quality thin films of ...

Influence of Cold Rolling Reduction and Annealing Temperature on Texture and Formability of Ti-IF Steel

open access: yesTeshugang, 2013
The influence of cold rolling reduction (65% ~ 80% ) of 3. 13 mm hot rolled plate and recrystallization annealing temperature (660 ~ 780 °C ) on texture and formability-train-hardening exponent (n) and plastic stain ratio (r) of 0.64~1. 10 mm cold rolled

MnI‐Functionalized Covalent Organic Framework as Efficient Electrocatalyst for CO2 Reduction in a Catholyte‐Free Zero‐Gap Electrolyzer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates the successful integration of a phenanthroline‐based 2D COF with MnI catalytic sites into a catholyte‐free membrane‐electrode‐assembly cell for CO2 electroreduction. The crystalline COF actively suppresses Mn⁰–Mn⁰ dimerization, achieving a turnover frequency of 617 h⁻¹ at 2.8 V (full‐cell potential), and enabling stable operation.

Pentagonal 2D Altermagnets: Material Screening and Altermagnetic Tunneling Junction Device Application

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
From a database of 170 pentagonal 2D materials, 4 candidates exhibiting altermagnetic ordering are screened. Furthermore, the spin‐splitting and unconventional boundary states in the pentagonal 2D altermagnetic monolayer MnS2 are investigated. A MnS2‐based altermagnetic tunneling junction is designed and, through ab initio quantum transport simulations,

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.
