Abstract Extant research on autism at work remains scattered across areas of study, including organizational psychology, disability studies, and management, suggesting the need to systematically organize the body of knowledge. In this systematic review, I explore the small, yet growing body of literature focused on autism at work and integrate research

ABSTRACT Deciphering sediment provenance is essential to understand depositional patterns and dynamics. This question is particularly important in archaeological contexts to constrain the sedimentological history of unearthed material—an information critically needed, for example, to estimate the age of the deposits—or to apprehend sediment movement ...

A new class of polynomials with applications [PDF]
To count over some oriented graphs a class of combinatorial numbers is introduced. Their explicit form is obtained by the modern classical umbral calculus using a suitable Sheffer sequence of polynomials.

The Genoeconomics of Impulsive Intertemporal Choice: A Critical Review
Abstract Dr. Warren Bickel tirelessly investigated delay discounting (DD), a behavioral economic index of impulsive decision making, as a determinant of numerous health outcomes. Among the factors that contribute to a person's level of DD, a burgeoning body of research has illuminated its genetic foundations and the extent to which it may be a ...

Sheffer sequences with zeros on a line
We extend a result of Bump et al. to show that a large family of Sheffer sequences has their zeros - up to perhaps a finite number of exceptions - on a vertical line. We connect a particular such sequence to the Riemann zeta function via a product representation of a scaled Mellin transform, analogously to the product decomposition of a Mellin ...

Representative policymakers? A behavioural experiment with French politicians
Abstract This study leverages an online behavioural experiment to analyse whether politicians' decisions align with citizens' preferences and with citizens' decisions within the same decision environment. We recruited 760 local politicians and 655 non‐politicians in France to participate as policymakers in a taxation‐redistribution game.

A single-nucleotide-polymorphism real-time PCR assay for genotyping of mycobacterium tuberculosis complex in peri-urban Kampala [PDF]
Accurate and high-throughput genotyping of Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (MTBC) may be important for understanding the epidemiology and pathogenesis of tuberculosis (TB).

Seasonal Drought Timing Shapes Flowering Phenology Directly and Through Biotic Interactions
The effects of drought on flowering depend on when drought occurs during the growing season. In experimental monocultures and mixtures, autumn drought delayed flowering onset whereas spring drought advanced flowering termination, with both reducing flowering duration through direct physiological effects and competition‐mediated interactions.

The classical umbral calculus: Sheffer sequences
Following the approach of Rota and Taylor \cite{SIAM}, we present an innovative theory of Sheffer sequences in which the main properties are encoded by using umbrae. This syntax allows us noteworthy computational simplifications and conceptual clarifications in many results involving Sheffer sequences.

ABSTRACT According to most readers of the Tractatus, Wittgenstein's logic is empty or contentless, since it consists of tautologies that do not picture reality. This view, however, does not explain how and why Wittgenstein's ‘logic of depiction’ is transcendental (T, 4.015 and 6.13), especially given that Kant introduced transcendental logic through ...
